Cost of Vehicle – Maximum value of £500

Car cost more than £500 = Minus 5 Points for every £50 over

Car cost less than £500 = Plus 5 Points for every £50 under

There is no restriction on spends to get a car through its MOT or repairs to ensure it is safe and legal.

Number of people in a team/car

2 People = 5 Points

More than 2 people = 5 points per additional participant

Car Decoration/Design

Maximum of 20 points available for each car, points awarded at the judge's discretion. The wilder the better!

Please ensure your car remains safe, roadworthy, and fully legal throughout the rally. The only cost restriction is the €500 (or equivalent) purchase price. Since we’ll be travelling across multiple European countries, make sure you’re aware of local vehicle regulations—especially concerning wheels, suspension, and other modifications. Many European police forces are strict about non-compliant setups, and lowered suspension or stretched tyres can attract immediate attention.

Number of seats

More than 5 = 5 Points per seat over

Less than 5 = Minus 5 points per seat

Convertible Cars

Roof must be lowered when leaving start point and remain down until finish (putting it up when parked is OK)

Roof down all the way = 25 Points

Roof up at any time = Minus 5 Points for every hour

Less than 4 = 20 Points

More than 4 = 10 points

Tyre Brands

Note – All tyres must be safe and legal but don't have to match!

Age of Car

10-15 years old = 5 Points

15-20 years old = 10 points

More than 20 years old = 15 points

Less than 10 years old = Minus 5 Points per year

Car Mileage

100k to 150k miles = 5 Points

150k to 200k Miles = 10 points

200k or more = 15 points

Less than 100k = Minus 5 Points for every 5k

Insurance write offs

Cat D (Or N on the new system) = 5 Points

Cat C (Or S on the new system) = 15 Points
